Arindam is an accomplished Tabla Virtuoso from Kolkata, India, with 27 years of rigorous training under the legendary Acharya Pandit Shankar Ghosh and additional lessons in Carnatic percussion from Vidwan S.Sekhar. With more than Two decades of experience as a performer and an educator, he is the Head of the department at the Malhaar Centre For Performing Arts in Dubai in Dubai and have been associated as a Senior most Musician and Tabla Faculty in several schools all over United Arab Emirates.

Arindam is an “A” Graded Artist of All India Radio and Doordarshan from Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, a recipient of Senior National Scholarship from Ministry of Culture, a recipient of “Taal Mani” award from Mumbai, an empaneled Artist of ICCR from Ministry of External affairs in the established Artist category. Arindam has been honoured with prestigious awards such as the Gana Yogi Panchakshari Kala Vikas Puraskar , Sangeer Gaurav award- Pride of West Bengal and many such accolades.
Arindam has been associated and performed with several noteworthy legends and renowned musicians all over the World with his great dexterity and expertise as well as promoting the Tabla and its traditional playing techniques through workshops, and collaborations worldwide.
